Two men arrested in officer shooting
Two men were arrested after one allegedly shot at a Seattle police officer traveling in his marked patrol car on Rainier Ave. early Sunday.
The officer was driving toward S. Juneau when he spotted the two men. One of the men pointed a gun at the officer and fired.
The officer, uninjured, pulled around the block and called for help.
The two men were stopped at Rainier and Mead and positively identified. Both suspects were arrested and booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Assault and Investigation of Violation of Uniform Firearms Act.
