I'm Getting Verklempt

Comments   |   Print this   |   E-mail this

Am I actually getting close to be on the winning side of a political issue?

Could my long-running advocacy of free choices for consenting adults be close at hand?

Not since John Anderson ran for President in 1980 (I was 11 years old)have I been this excited about politics!

The times they are a changing.

Mr. Obama, tear down that (cannabis) wall.

According to the head honcho of NORML, 2010 could be a watershed year for marijuana reform laws.

Nobody I vote for ever wins an election. I think the last time I voted for a winner in an election was H.W. Bush in 1988--the first election I was legally allowed to vote. Yeah, I was still learning but it's not like Dukakis was burning up the polls either. Thus my condemnation of the 2 party monopoly.

The momentum is gaining. The idiocy of prohibition laws is slowly being cracked like a hard boiled egg at a body builder's breakfast table.
