Exclusive photos - car crashes through Shorecrest High School

I coach the girls' basketball varsity at Shorecrest High School. We had a home game Friday night. About a half hour after our game, a 17-year-old boy crashed a Subaru into the school, down a long hallway, and took out two offices at the end of the hallway.

The teen has been arrested and was taken to Harborview for a mental evaluation.

Time to make Subaru abuse a crime.

I feel even more sorry for the parents. If the kid has mental issues, why in the heck would anyone leave the car keys where he could get them? Oh wait, that is what 'nice' parents do who want their kids to like them!

I'm with you on that one... plus the guy probably needed a car to work on... and prior to driving it into the school. it ran perfectly. On another note - thank God no one was injured..

Hmmm. I think Dori was driving and talking on his cel phone again. Prolly speeding in a school zone, too. Maybe running a red light at the same time. How else do you explain that his daughter just "happened" to be there? Basketball? Gimme a break! SEE WHY WE NEED CAMERAS MONSON!!! LOL Just pokin' fun at ya, big guy. Now I gotta go to the store: this year instead of my world famous black bean BBQ chili I'm making Jambalya in honor of the 'Aints :o)
